Epic Games has accidentally granted 500 free V-Bucks to Fortnite Battle Royale players due to an Item Shop glitch. The glitch will be fixed at the next reset of the Item Shop, so you still have a chance to benefit from it.
This article will explain everything you need to know about the latest Item Shop glitch and how you can use it to your advantage.
Unfortunately, Item Shop resets every 24 hours, which means that you only have a limited time to use the glitch and gain free V-Bucks for it. If you decide to do it, this article contains all the necessary information you need to have.
October 25 update
IMPORTANT: The glitch has been fixed before the Item Shop reset. Epic Games addressed it officially and allowed players to retain the extra 500 V-Bucks from their original purchase.
Everyone who obtains the pack will be granted 1,000 V-Bucks from now on.

How to gain 500 free V-Bucks in Fortnite
Epic Games made a mistake while releasing the Saint Academy quest pack. The new Fortnite quest pack was added with the v22.20 update on October 18 and it finally came to the Item Shop on October 25.
However, the pack is supposed to grant 1,000 V-Bucks, but it grants 1,500 instead. Due to this, everyone who gets the back will receive 500 free V-Bucks for a limited time.

Considering that this was not intended to happen, we expect Epic Games to fix the issue with the next Item Shop reset. Until then, you will be able to purchase the pack and gain free V-Bucks from it.
It’s important to note that you will not receive V-Bucks immediately. The pack comes with special quests that need to be completed before you can get the premium currency.
Furthermore, the Saint Academy Quest pack cannot be refunded through the in-game refunding system. However, you may request a refund from it from your platform. For example, if you purchase it on an Xbox, you can contact Microsoft for a refund.

In addition to V-Bucks, if you purchase the new quest pack, you will receive a couple of cosmetic items. Here is a list of them:
- Vivica Saint Outfit
- Saint’s Legacy Back Bling
- High Stakes Pickaxe
The new quest pack is perfect if you need V-Bucks. 1,000 V-Bucks costs $7.99, but now you have a chance to get three cosmetic items and 1,500 V-Bucks for that much. Even after Epic Games fixes the Item Shop glitch, the pack will still be worth it as the cosmetic items are a huge bonus.
