Epic Games has recently banned many players due to in-game exploits. However, it turns out that this is not the end as the Fortnite Battle Royale developer announced a new ban wave.
It’s already known that Epic has a zero-tolerance policy toward cheaters. Unfortunately, a lot of players tried to gain an unfair advantage in the video game by using exploits lately, which is not something that Epic is happy about.
This article will explain everything you need to know about the next ban wave in Fortnite. We will explain everything in detail so you can check if you will be banned eventually.
Many Fornite players will be banned soon

Epic Games had a winter break that started shortly after the release of the v23.10 update on Tuesday, December 13. During this break, the development team was not available as the entire company was on break.
Unfortunately, many players were aware of this and began using glitches, knowing that Epic was away. A lot of players were eventually banned, but only for 12 hours. However, this is not the end.
According to iFireMonkey, one of the most reputable Fortnite leakers, Epic Games will ban a lot more players in the future. All of the players who exploited the Slap Berry XP exploit will be issued a ban.
At the moment, it is unknown when the ban wave will start or how long it will last, but it won’t be surprising if it lasts for at least a few days.

A few weeks ago, many Fortnite players began using a Discord bot to purchase hidden or unreleased items from the Item Shop or to play unreleased limited-time game modes. In one of these modes, Sword Fight, players were able to gain infinite XP from Slap Berries.
More specifically, players were able to gather as many Slap Berries as they wanted since they would never disappear. This wasn’t supposed to happen, which is one of the reasons why Epic Games hasn’t released the LTM yet.
The ban wave information comes from MagmaReef, who is the head of security at Epic Games.
MagmaReef has revealed that all the players who used the XP exploit in the Sword Fight LTM will be banned. However, while it’s unknown if other players will be banned, there is a chance that Epic Games will suspend players who used other features of the bot.
