A few weeks ago, there were rumors of Epic releasing Chapter 4 in December 2022. While this hasn’t been confirmed and is unlikely to happen, releasing the fourth chapter next month would make a lot of sense.

Chapter 4 will completely change Fortnite
At the moment, we are in Chapter 3 – Season 4 and Chrome is taking over the island. The Herald is getting everything ready for the live event, which will be one of the most interesting events in recent seasons.
While we currently don’t know what the live event will be about, it will most likely include The Last Reality and its another attempt to take over the island.
The last time we saw The Last Reality was during Chapter 2 – Season 8 and “The End” live event. This is when The Cube Queen attempted to take over the island and destroy it. Fortunately, The Seven prevented this from happening.
Now, The Herald is trying to do the same thing, and if she succeeds, we might see a conclusion of Chapter 3. This is quite unusual as the current chapter hasn’t been out for even a year. However, the v23.00 update will be massive, which is why it could bring a new chapter.
Next season will be massive
The reason why Fortnite Chapter 4 will change the entire game is because of Creative 2.0. This update to the Creative mode will be released with the next season and will be a real game-changer.
Creative 2.0 will allow players to create their custom maps with much more freedom. In fact, creators will be able to import their custom 3D models, animations, scripts, and more. This update could be the reason why Epic Games decides to simply release Chapter 4.
Even if we don’t get Chapter 4 next month, the game will look different by the time the new chapter comes out. Once Epic Games is ready to roll out the new changer, Creative 2.0 will be the most popular game mode in Fortnite,
Earlier this year, Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, revealed that almost 50% of the total playtime is spent in the Creative mode. In comparison to Creative 2.0, the current mode is very basic, yet it’s very popular.
When creators get used to all the new tools, they will make big things happen and will most likely bring old maps and chapters back. Due to this, Fortnite Battle Royale will not be as popular as it once was as players will be able to choose which map exactly they want to play.
When it comes to Fortnite Battle Royale, Epic Games will most likely make the game simpler and stop releasing frequent updates. This will allow the development team to focus on the Creative mode and give even more tools to creators.
