Fortnite Downtime (December 13): How Long Will Servers Be Down?

Another Fortnite downtime has just begun! Servers are currently down in preparation for the v23.10 update, which is the first major update in Chapter 4 – Season 1.

Epic Games has prepared a lot of new content for players, including the Winterfest 2022 event, the MrBeast skin and rewards, new challenges, and more. Unfortunately, players will have to wait for the servers to get back up before they can play.

This article will reveal everything you need to know about the latest Fortnite downtime. We will also take a look at the possible time when servers could come back.

Winterfest 2022 has arrived with the new Fortnite Battle Royale update

To make sure that everything goes smoothly for a new update, Epic Games takes servers down. Fortnite downtime usually lasts for up to two hours, but it’s been much longer than that several times.

It’s important to note that Epic Games never gives players an estimate of how long the downtime is going to be. Due to this, it’s impossible to correctly say when Fortnite servers will be back.

However, considering previous downtimes, we have a good idea of when servers will return.

Deku from “My Hero Academia” is expected to come out with the new update

Most of the previous downtimes lasted around 90 minutes on average. Due to this, we expect Fortnite servers to get back up by 6 AM Eastern Time or slightly earlier.

Please keep in mind that you will not be able to play Fortnite Battle Royale unless you download the latest update. If you are next to your gaming system, make sure to download the update so the video game is ready once the servers get back up.
