Fortnite Battle Royale has received a lot of new additions in the past two weeks. Epic Games released the new chapter of the popular video game on December 4 and one more update a week later.
Besides the things that have already come to the game, Epic has prepared a lot of new content that will be released throughout the season. The first-person mode is one of the upcoming additions and the game developer has already teased it.
While this perspective hasn’t been released yet, there is a simple trick you can use to switch to the first-person mode in Chapter 4 – Season 1.
Switch your Fortnite to first-person mode

The first-person mode is very interesting since it allows you to focus on your aiming. However, this mode is not ideal for building, which is why so many Fortnite players don’t like it.
Fortunately, when Epic Games releases this perspective to the video game, players will most likely be able to switch between the first-person and third-person perspectives.
Before Epic releases the new feature, you are able to test it out in the game! Thanks to Glitch King, a popular YouTuber, we can now activate the first-person mode and see what it will approximately look like.
If you want to activate it, we have prepared a guide for you below. Please keep in mind that this is not the same first-person perspective that Epic Games has been developing. This is simply a glitch that allows you to switch to a different version of the upcoming perspective.
As you can see in the video above, you first need to pick up the Red-Eye Assault Rifle. This weapon is relatively common and you should have no trouble finding it on the ground or in chests.
After picking up the weapon, enter a truck and switch seats. Finally, you need to aim down sights with the weapon, which will activate the new Fortnite Battle Royale glitch.
If you become invisible, this means that you successfully activated the first-person mode glitch. After this, you simply need to step out of the truck and the new perspective will be activated.
It’s important to note that you will be visible to enemies. To cancel the first-person mode glitch, you simply need to aim down sights with the Red-Eye Assault Rifle once again.
