Epic Games released the v23.10 Fortnite update on Tuesday, December 13, adding a lot of new content to the popular video game. The most important part of the update is the Winterfest 2022 event.
Once again, the development team has released numerous free cosmetic items for players. In total, there are 18 different cosmetics that can be obtained during the event, including three skins!
Unfortunately, one skin, Guff Gringle, is an Epic Games Store exclusive. This means that only PC players are able to obtain it. However, this article will explain how to get the skin on gaming consoles and mobile devices as well.
How to get Guff Gringle Fortnite skin on other devices
Similar to Winterfest 2021, Epic Games has released two free skins for everyone and one for Epic Games Store users. Fortunately, there is a simple trick you can use to obtain the PC-exclusive skin on any other device!
To obtain the free cosmetic item on gaming consoles or mobile phones, please follow a couple of steps below:
- Sign up for Nvidia GeForce Now
- Connect your Epic Games account to Fortnite inside the app
- Launch Fortnite
- Visit the Item Shop
- Find the Guff Gringle skin and get it for free

Also, it’s important to note that the free skin will be obtainable by January 3 at 9 AM Eastern Time. This is when the Fortnite Winterfest 2022 event will end, so you will have to obtain the free Guff skin by then.
