How to get up to 2,000 V-Bucks in Fortnite Chapter 3 – Season 4
On October 12, 2021, Epic Games released a Fortnite update that allows players to receive new refund tickets every 365 days. This didn’t seem like a big deal at first and many players complained about having to wait for that long.
However, many players received new refund tickets this week, thanks to the 2021 update, and they can now receive V-Bucks with them.

Using Fortnite refund tickets, it is possible to get up to 2,000 V-Bucks. Some players have three refund tickets, meaning they can get up to 6,000 V-Bucks, which sounds amazing.
To gain V-Bucks, here is what you need to do:
- Open Settings
- Go to the Account and Privacy tab
- Open the Recent Purchases page
- Select the cosmetic item you want to return
- Confirm the return
By doing this, you will basically sell your cosmetic item back to Epic Games at its original price. You can refund a lot of different cosmetic items, including Legendary (Gold) skins which cost 2,000 V-Bucks.
Unfortunately, some items cannot be returned. These include Fortnite Crew, Battle Pass, starter packs, Battle Pass levels, and more. A rule of thumb is that no consumable item (levels) or real-money transaction (starter packs, bundles, etc.) can be refunded through this.

If you want to get a refund for real-money purchases, you may be able to do so by contacting Epic Games directly. You could also do it by contacting Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo if you are a console player.
Please keep in mind that it is possible to get a refund for purchases made within the last 24 hours. To do this, simply open the Item Shop, select the item that you purchased, and hold the Cancel Purchase button.
You can use your refund tickets on these purchases as well, but that is not a smart idea. Refund tickets are refreshed only once a year, so you need to use them for purchases that you regret.
