Upcoming Fortnite update will completely change the game
Epic Games released Chapter 4 of Fortnite Battle Royale in December 2022. With the new chapter, the game developer was supposed to release Creative 2.0. Unfortunately, this did not happen.
On the positive side, Epic postponed the release of Creative 2.0 for January 2023. Considering that the next major update will be released around the corner, we expect this massive change to come very soon.
While a Creative update doesn’t sound like a big deal, this one will change the game in so many ways. Epic Games’ focus is on the Creative mode, and the upcoming update will make it much better, allowing creators to create whatever is on their minds.
Creative 2.0 will allow creators to add their custom 3D models, animations, scripts, and much more. Essentially, Fortnite players will be able to create custom games inside of the main game, which is amazing.
According to the data from early 2022, more than 50% of the playtime in Fortnite was spent in the Creative mode. This is most likely Epic’s endgame as the game developer will essentially outsource their work to creators.
Players will be able to recreate old chapters and even other video games inside Fortnite. The only limit will be their skills and creativity.
Considering that Epic Games is on a winter break until Tuesday, January 3, the next major update could come out on January 10. This update may not bring Creative 2.0, however, which is why we will have to wait for a confirmation from Epic Games.
The game-changing Fortnite update should be out by January 31, which is the last Tuesday of this month. Once it comes out, there is no doubt that talented creators from all around the world will create some mind-blowing maps.
Another big thing that will arrive with Fortnite Creative 2.0 is the custom skin creator. Fortnite players will be able to combine different parts of the skins and create their unique outfits.
While this feature has been confirmed by Epic Games, it won’t be released very soon. Instead, Epic will focus on making the mode stable and working as intended before adding more features to it.
