Fortnite Battle Royale players are able to use two new Mythic weapons in Chapter 3 – Season 4. The Suppressed Submachine Gun is back and it comes in a Mythic variant as well. Furthermore, Epic Games has unvaulted the Rapid Fire SMG.

Mythic Suppressed Submachine Gun comes to Fortnite
The Suppressed Submachine Gun is one of the most popular close-range weapons in Fortnite Battle Royale. Epic Games has vaulted it and unvaulted it a couple of times, but it’s returned with the release of Chapter 3 – Season 4.
Not only has Epic brought it back, but the game developer has also added a Mythic variant of it, which is very powerful.
As you can see in the image above, the new variant of the submachine gun will deal 24 damage for body shot, which is incredible.
The Mythic Suppressed Submachine Gun has the following stats:
- Damage: 24
- Headshot damage: 42
- Magazine size: 30 bullets
- Fire rate: 7.8
- Reload time: 1.8 seconds
The DPS of the new weapon is 187.2, which means that players can take enemies down in almost one second if they hit all of their shots. Of course, this does not take headshots into account.
Rapid Fire SMG is back
The Rapid Fire SMG was first added to Fortnite with Chapter 2 – Season 2. This ended up being one of the best seasons in Fortnite Battle Royale history, which is not surprising. The new SMG was added with its initial patch and was incredibly powerful.
What separates the Rapid Fire SMG from other weapons is its fire rate. The weapon shoots 15 bullets per second and even its worst rarity has a DPS of 195.
The Mythic variant of the Rapid Fire SMG deals 17 damage per shot with almost 30 damage for a headshot. Its magazine size is relatively small compared to other submachine guns in Fortnite Battle Royale, but its reload time of 1.3 seconds makes it extremely deadly.
The Mythic Rapid Fire SMG has the following stats in Fortnite:
- Damage: 17
- Headshot damage: 30
- Magazine size: 20 bullets
- Fire rate: 15
- Reload time: 1.3 seconds
Fortnite Chapter 3 – Season 4 has brought a lot of other weapon changes and players are able to one-shot their enemies with sniper rifles once again.
