Fortnite leak reveals several game-changing features

Despite Chapter 4 bringing a lot of new things, it is very unlikely that Epic Games will stop releasing new content to the video game. On the contrary, the development team has already prepared several big things, including new mechanics and collaborations.

The latest Fortnite leak was shared by HYPEX, the most popular leaker. He shared three new movement mechanics that Epic Games has worked on and may release in the future.

As you can see in the tweet above, there are three new mechanics that will be added to Fortnite Battle Royale. Wall running will allow players to run on walls and surprise their enemies from different angles.

The jump slide mechanic will probably let players slide while in mid-air, which could be useful for avoiding enemy gunfire. Additionally, the double jump will also come to the video game. It was leaked before Chapter 4 began, but Epic Games did not release it with the first update of the new chapter.

Fortnite Battle Royale now uses Unreal Engine 5.1

Furthermore, there have been rumors of Epic releasing the ability for players to go prone. Considering that the video game now uses Unreal Engine 5.1, it won’t be surprising if this happens.

It’s important to note that all of these mechanics may be released as Reality Augments (perks). However, nothing has been confirmed yet and we will have to wait a little longer to get more information.
