A new Fortnite live event might be just around the corner. Epic Games will release the v21.51 update for the video game on Tuesday, September 6. While this doesn’t sound like a big deal, it actually is.
The season has gotten a lot of new content and it appears that Epic is done releasing new things. However, there has to be a reason for the new update, and the reason might be a Fortnite live event.
Data miners have gone through everything that was added with the v21.50 update, yet there was no mention of a new event. However, Epic Games could add the data required for it with the upcoming update, which would be fantastic news for players.
Fortnite live event could happen on the final day
The last Fortnite live event was “The Collision,” which took place at the end of Chapter 3 Season 2. During this event, players controlled the Mecha robot and fought against the Imagined Order. In the end, the loopers prevailed, the Imagined Order retreated, and Dr. Slone was defeated.
This Fortnite live event also revealed a part of the future storyline. At the end of it, The Foundation and Jonesy saw Geno, the founder of the Imagined Order, and began chasing him. With Dr. Slone defeated, the focus now shifts to Geno as he’s the main antagonist of the game.
While Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 was focused on the Reality Tree and its expansion, a lot of unusual things happened during it. Almost every member of The Seven is missing, which is very weird. They are all trained and capable of surviving worst-case scenarios, yet it seems that someone kidnapped them.
Without The Seven, the island is vulnerable, and this might be the perfect opportunity for Geno. If he strikes now, he could put an end to the organization and destroy the island. Right now, the only member of The Seven who is not missing is The Scientist, who can be found at Synapse Station.
Live event release date
The v21.51 Fortnite update will be released on September 6. Shortly after the update comes out, we can expect data miners to check everything that comes with it. Now, it’s important to note that Epic Games will most likely encrypt files related to the next Fortnite live event.
To put it into simple words, Epic will release all the data necessary for the next live event, but players will not be able to see them. These files will be downloaded on gaming systems just so that everyone is ready for a live event, but they will not be accessible, not by players nor by data miners.
If the v21.51 update does bring new files regarding another Fortnite live event, these files will most likely be decrypted shortly after the event starts. Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is scheduled to begin on Sunday, September 18. This means that the next live event could happen on Saturday, most likely around 4 PM Eastern Time.
