Epic Games has refunded a lot of V-Bucks to Fortnite Battle Royale players in the past few months. This frequently happens when the game developer makes a mistake with pricing in the Item Shop.
A few weeks ago, Epic Games decided to give Fortnite players 500 V-Bucks for releasing the Snikt! Snikt! emote as a part of the Reboot Rally program. While Epic did not have to do this, it was a nice gesture.
In January 2023, Epic Games may send more free V-Bucks to Fortnite players. This article will reveal everything you need to know about it.
More free V-Bucks coming to Fortnite?

V-Bucks are a premium currency in Fortnite and are mostly obtained by purchasing them from the in-game store. While there are a few other ways of making V-Bucks, they are extremely slow and not worth it.
Fortunately, Epic Games sometimes send free V-Bucks to players and there is a chance that this will happen once again in January 2023.
As many players are aware, Epic Games released Dragon Ball Super skins on Friday, December 30.
These skins were released for only the second time, but this time, the Shenron glider has also been released to the Item Shop.

The Shenron glider was available by collecting seven dragon balls in Power Unleashed challenges. Essentially, players had to complete challenges to earn the glider, which was great.
As soon as the glider was released for free, Epic Games made it clear that it would come out to the Item Shop at some point. The same goes for the other free cosmetics that were obtainable through Dragon Ball Super challenges.
Despite Epic making clear that these free cosmetics are not exclusives, a lot of players believe that they will receive free V-Bucks from the game developer. While there is certainly a possibility that Epic Games does this, it is very unlikely.
If Epic did not clarify things upfront, releasing the glider wouldn’t have been the right move. However, the Fortnite developer made it clear that it would be released to the Item Shop, which is why a V-Bucks refund is extremely unlikely to happen.
