Epic Games has finally revealed the release date of the Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration! The video game developer posted a teaser which reveals that the collaboration will come out on Tuesday, August 16.
There have been numerous leaks regarding the collaboration, yet many players were skepctical since Epic was silent about it. However, things have changed with the latest tweet as the game developer generated a lot of hype with the Fortnite x Dragon Ball teaser.
Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration is coming on August 16
Epic Games will release the v21.40 update for Fortnite Battle Royale on August 16. The update will bring many new things to the popular video game. However, the most popular things that will come are map changes and the Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration.
Considering that Chapter 3 – Season 3 ends in mind-September, this might be either the last or the second-to-last major update in it. Due to this, we can expect Epic to release many new things on Tuesday and potentially add a new gameplay item as well.
There have been a lot of leaks regarding the Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration and players have a good idea about what will come to the game next week. However, Epic will probably prepare a few surprises as well.
Everything we know about the upcoming collaboration
According to popular leakers, the Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration will bring four different characters, including Goku and Vegeta. These characters will also have their Super Saiyan styles. However, it is currently unknown if they will be reactive or separate styles.
The collaboration will also bring a couple of gameplay changes. If the leaks are true, Kamehameha will be added as a Mythic ability, similar to the Marvel abilities released during Chapter 2 – Season 4. Epic will also release a new capsule item, but it’s unknown what it will do.
