The Fortnite x Pokemon collaboration might finally come out! The latest Fortnite Battle Royale leak shows what looks like the upcoming collaboration and many players are excited about it.
As many players are aware, Epic Games is in the final stages of releasing the Fortnite Creative 2.0 mode. This mode will completely change the game and is expected to be released during Chapter 3 – Season 5.
Recently, there has been a leak that showed some big things that the new mode will bring to Fortnite. However, this leak also revealed a potential Fortnite x Pokemon collaboration.
Fortnite x Pokemon collaboration might come soon
The Fortnite Creative 2.0 mode will give creators many new tools to work with. These tools will allow creators to make incredible maps and even add custom 3D models to them.
One of the main features of the new mode is the integration with Unreal Engine. This is a game engine developed by Epic Games and is used to run Fortnite Battle Royale. Thanks to the upcoming integration, players will be able to run custom scripts, add their own 3D models, animations, and much more to the game.
The recent leak revealed what the integration will look like, but it has also revealed a Fortnite x Pokemon collaboration. As you can see in the image above, there is a Pokemon-themed map inside Fortnite.
Even in the current Creative mode, some creators have made Pokemon-themed maps. Unfortunately, there aren’t many tools that creators can use to make these maps completely functional.
With the Unreal Engine integration, talented creators will be able to add whatever they want to the game. Making a Fortnite x Pokemon collaboration inside the Creative mode will be one of many things that will be released next year.
At the moment, Epic Games hasn’t addressed these leaks. While some players believe that the official Fortnite x Pokemon collab will not happen, there has to be a reason why the leaked images showed a Pokemon-themed map.
Considering that millions of Fortnite players want this collaboration to happen, it won’t be surprising if Epic releases it very soon.
It’s important to note that the Fortnite Creative 2.0 mode will most likely come out with the release of Chapter 3 – Season 5 on December 5. The new mode will completely change the game and it won’t be surprising if some creators completely recreate the Fortnite Chapter 1 map.
