Epic Games has released a lot of free Fortnite cosmetic items lately. In Chapter 3 – Season 4, players can obtain more than 10 free cosmetics in Fortnite Battle Royale, which is amazing.
However, it’s important to note that all of these free items are limited by time. This means that you have only a few more days or weeks to obtain them before they expire. Considering that a lot of them are exclusive, this will be your only chance to get them.
This article will list all the free Fortnite cosmetics that are available in the game as of Sunday, September 25. Besides the list, we will include a short guide on how to obtain every single item.
Free Fortnite cosmetic items can be earned easily in Season 4
Fortnite Battle Royale players can celebrate the fifth birthday of the popular video game for a limited time. During this celebration, Epic Games has released three different free Fortnite cosmetics that can be earned.
Here is the list of free cosmetics and how to obtain them:
- Sparklecake emoticon – Use birthday presents five times
- Celebratory Slice Pickaxe – Use five Balloons in a single match
- Fuzzfetti Cake Back Bling – Consume a birthday cake in five different matches
These challenges expire on Tuesday, September 27, which means that you will have to finish them soon. Birthday cosmetics are exclusive, so this is your only chance to get them.
SypherPK, one of the most popular Fortnite Battle Royale streamers, was recently released to the game. His Icon Series skin looks amazing and has multiple styles and multiple accessories.
Here are all the free Fortnite cosmetics that can be earned from SypherPK:
- Dark Dragon wrap – Watch SypherPK’s stream for an hour on Twitch
- Sypher is here spray – Play at Sypher’s Pit for 30 minutes
- SypherPK loading screen – Eliminate 50 opponents at Sypher’s Pit
The streamer’s exclusive cup allowed players to earn his skin for free. Unfortunately, the cup is no longer available. These challenges expire on Monday, October 3.
Finally, Epic Games allows players to earn free Fortnite cosmetic items by participating in Reboot Rally. This is a new program that lets players recruit their friends and earn special cosmetics in return.
There are four different cosmetics that can be earned for free:
- Barb-B-Q Emoticon – 50 points
- Freshly Forged Wrap – 100 points
- Red Hot Revenge Pickaxe – 150 points
- Fiery Descent Glider – 200 points
You can earn points by simply earning XP or completing daily quests with eligible friends. To participate in Reboot Rally, open the quest log and click on the new challenges. From here, you can “reboot” your friends and start playing with them.
It’s important to note that all of these cosmetics will be released to the Item Shop at a later date.
Exclusive PlayStation pack
Fortnite Battle Royale players who have a PlayStation Plus subscription can earn even more free cosmetic items. This includes the Follow the Butterfly emote, which is one of the best emotes in the game at the moment.
In addition to the emote, the Snow Sailer glider and the Snowball Flight contrail are the other free Fortnite cosmetics available from the pack.
Unfortunately, the PlayStation Plus pack can only be obtained by PlayStation players. Considering that these items are exclusive to the users of Sony’s gaming console, it is very unlikely that they will ever be released to the Item Shop.
