Epic Games has released new refund tokens for Fortnite Battle Royale players. These tokens are very useful as they allow players to get a full refund for the cosmetic items they’ve purchased from the Item Shop.
Most players received their new tokens on Tuesday, October 12, or Wednesday. However, some players still haven’t received them, even though they were supposed to.
Fortunately, Epic Games has addressed this issue. It appears that Fortnite refund tokens are currently bugged and will be fixed very soon. In the meantime, the video game developer has revealed what players need to do.
Fortnite refund tokens will be out for everyone soon
If you were supposed to get a Fortnite refund token in the past two days, but it’s still not in your account, you should not worry. According to Epic Games, you will receive your token within the next 24 hours.
You simply need to wait and your Fortnite refund token will appear in your account very soon. In the meantime, developers at Epic will give their best to fix the issue and make sure that it doesn’t happen to many players.
Here is what Epic Games posted on their official Twitter account:
We are aware of an issue preventing players from receiving their refreshed refund token. As a workaround please wait upwards of 24 hours after the date shown in-game.

If you, however, weren’t supposed to receive a new refund token in the past few days, you will have to wait longer to get it. To check the exact date of your new token, please follow the instructions below:
- Launch the game
- Open in-game settings
- Go to the Account and Privacy tab (last tab)
- Open Recent Purchases
On the right side of the screen, you will see how many Fortnite refund tokens you have in your account and when you will receive a new one.
If you don’t have any tokens in your account, you can still refund the cosmetic items purchased within the last 24 hours that you haven’t used yet. You can do this by opening the Item Shop and pressing the Cancel Purchase button.
