New Fortnite Update Brings Big Changes, Unvaults A Fan-Favorite Weapon

Epic Games has released another update for Fortnite Battle Royale. The update was released on Tuesday, January 10, at 4 AM Eastern Time.

While players had to update their game clients at this time, Epic Games enabled all the new additions at 9 AM. Thanks to this, players are now able to use one of their favorite weapons from the past.

This article will reveal everything you need to know about the latest Fortnite update. We will take a look at all of the changes that have come with it.

Fortnite update unvaults a fan-favorite weapon

The latest Fortnite update has brought back one of the fan-favorite weapons. Players can now use the Burst Assault Rifle, which was very popular in the previous chapters of the video game.

Besides the rifle, Epic Games has also brought the Shockwave Hammer back. This weapon was vaulted for a brief period of time due to all the glitches that players used with it. Fortunately, players can use it once again!

Hurdling, a new movement mechanic added with Chapter 4, has also been enabled. A lot of players haven’t even had a chance to use this mechanic since it was vaulted shortly after its release. However, it’s back now.

The video game developer has used the update to release numerous bug fixes for the problems that have been bothering players in the current chapter. Considering that the game was unplayable on some systems, this is another positive change.

Lastly, the Reboot Rally ended at 9 AM Eastern Time. This means that players can no longer obtain free cosmetic items from it.
