Fortnite Battle Royale players will receive a lot of new content tomorrow. Epic Games will release the v23.30 update on Tuesday, January 31, which will be the third major update of Chapter 4 – Season 1.
This update will bring many new things to the popular video game and Epic has revealed some of them. It turns out that another Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration will be released with the upcoming update.
The collaboration will reportedly bring at least two new skins, which is why many Fortnite players are excited. Here is everything we know about it.
Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration will bring two new skins
The first Fortnite x Dragon Ball collaboration was released in August 2022. It brought four popular characters from the anime: Goku, Beerus, Vegeta, and Bulma. Fortnite players were able to buy these skins separately, but also from bundles.
The collaboration also brought many other cosmetic items, including the Nimbus Cloud glider. Furthermore, Epic Games added the Nimbus Cloud as a gameplay item, as well as the Kamehameha Mythic ability.
According to reputable Fortnite Battle Royale leakers, the January 31 collaboration will bring at least two more characters to the popular video game. Son Gohan and Piccolo will arrive to Fortnite with the v22.30 update.
At the moment, there is no information on when the upcoming collaboration will begin. While we know that Epic Games will add these skins with the next update, the collab might officially begin a few days later.
Once the collaboration comes out, Epic will most likely bring back the Kamehameha Mythic ability. However, Deku’s Smash Mythic item is also available in the game and will most likely be vaulted very soon.
The update will be released at 4:00 AM Eastern Time and we will have more information about it then. Considering that the first collab brought four skins, there is a good chance that the second collaboration will also bring four characters.
