To celebrate the ending of Chapter 3, Epic Games has just released a free Fortnite emote. Anyone can obtain it and the process is very simple. However, the emote can be obtained for a limited time and will expire very soon.
As many players are aware, the “Fracture” live event is just around the corner. It will begin on Saturday, December 3, at 4 PM Eastern Time, and will conclude the current chapter.
Before the event starts, however, you have a chance to earn the free Fortnite emote. The emote will most likely never return to the game again, which is why you should grab it as soon as possible.
How to obtain the free Fortnite emote
The free Fortnite emote is called “Toasty Roast” and you can obtain it by simply logging into the game by December 4, 2:45 AM Eastern Time. This emote is a reference to the beginning of Chapter 3, so releasing it at the end makes a lot of sense.
The emote is a free reward for any player who logs in to Fortnite before the live event starts. According to Epic Games, it will be obtainable by December 4, but we suggest you get it as soon as possible.

Fortnite servers will most likely go down after the event, and it’s unknown when they will be back. There is a good chance that servers will get back up by 2 AM on Sunday, but this hasn’t been confirmed.
Due to this, you should log in to the game and obtain the emote before it expires. Considering that Epic is giving the cosmetic item away by the end of the chapter, it will most likely end up being one of the rarest emotes in the game.

If you played Fortnite at the beginning of Chapter 3, you may recall meeting The Foundation at Looper Landing, right after defeating the Cube Queen and flipping the island.
This location, located on the eastern side of the island, has a campfire that was used during the Chapter 3 beginning cutscene. The free Fortnite emote is a nice way to commemorate the third chapter before it ends.
