VIDEO: Fortnite Player Uses New Feature To Make 200IQ Play

Fortnite Chapter 3 – Season 4 was recently released and has brought a lot of new features to the popular video game. Many players are still learning the new features, but some of them have mastered them.

Reddit user Alematrix3r recently posted a video of using an NPC to bait an enemy and get an easy elimination. The video shows off the new feature which allows players to give commands to NPCs.

Hiring NPCs used to be useless in previous seasons of Fortnite Battle Royale. However, the new season has completely changed the hiring system and it’s one of the new features.

In the video below, you can see how Alematrix3r used Cryptic, an NPC they hired, to get an easy snipe on an enemy.

This was a 200IQ move and one of the best examples of how to use the latest Fortnite Battle Royale feature. There are more than 20 NPCs on the island that can be hired, which makes the new feature very useful.

How to hire an NPC in Fortnite

Every NPC in Fortnite Battle Royale can be hired. This feature has been in the game for a long time, but it’s been improved with the release of Chapter 3 – Season 4.

To hire an NPC, simply talk to them and select the last option. By choosing this option, the NPC will join you, follow you around and help you fight the enemies.

Please keep in mind that hiring an NPC costs around 100 Gold Bars. While an NPC is active, players can no longer obtain their other services. If you need to buy weapons or services from the NPC you want to hire, you will have to do it before hiring them.

In the new season, they are extremely useful since you can command them to stay put or follow you. They no longer cause a lot of issues, which is why hiring them is a must.
